I had the same problem last year after deciding audit was too unbearable to make a career out of!
Speak to fresh minds-they might be able to help you out although you have pass criteria to be selected as a mind and then enter tehir bank to get placed on a project. Otherwise search for full time roles with as much consultancy related key skills-project management, project support roles, government stuff if that is your thing.
I managed to get a contract at RBS and another with the NHS and have secured a grad role with a big player to start soon so it is possible. The more proactive you are, the better your chances, treat job and expereince seaching like a job adn put in teh hours on the phone and be prepared to travel and something will come up.
