I am a doctor wanting to start a new career in management consulting. What would be the best firms for me to apply to? OUr univeristy degree was pass/fail so do yo think I need to get furhter qualifications(eg MBA) before applying at all?
McKinsey has a growing healthcare practice. Apply to them (they are always in the HSJ etc.)
I'd also look at Accenture and BT as they have the connecting for Health contracts and would value your skills
