Has anyone had any experiences with the Search and Selection company Huntswood Plc ? I would be keen to hear any info from employees or clients.

Many thanks

James

James - Huntswood are one of the most recognised firms in the industry. When we polled Top-Consultant readers in December they featured very strongly - and Huntswood are also the lead sponsors of the Institute of Management Consultancy's Annual Forum. Regards, Tony

Very interesting but my personal experience with them was not so good. I experienced a series of blunders, mis-information and re-scheduled appointments. I found them to be un-trustworthy and un-proffessional. I will not use them again. SP

James, I believe as with all employment agencies (and consultancies?!) the real determining factor is the individual consultant assigned. Your contact should at all times be courteous, should take time to find out what makes you tick, and should verify and confirm both your credentials and those of their (real) clients - by that I mean the ones that pay their rent. In general, I have found many such agents quite the opposite - strange really since the phrase 'what goes around, comes around' is highly applicable where our industry is concerned.

Sam,

Thanks for your feedback. Was your experience recent ? Who did you deal with ?

Many thanks

James

Ditto. I found them very detatched and not at all appreciative of hte fact that, whilst their clients pay the finding fee, the candidates are an essential ingredient in the transformation process. I applied for 2 posts, followed up on each and heard nothing. It's time the 'best' treat its bread and butter less like slabs of meat...
