I graduated with a first in Business last Sept in Ireland, speak 5 languages, and have a large raft of diverse extra curricular achievements on my CV. I have subsequently worked as a Museum Fundraiser in the Vatican, and in the finance department of a stockbrokers. Unfortunately, when I applied to all the names last autumn, I didn't even get one interview. Presuming that this is a as a result of tight market conditions (eternal optimism...), and still having an extremely strong interest in joining a consulting firm, I have been advised that getting a summer intership would be the best option open to me. Logistically, what might be the best way to go about this, and which firms, and where take on interns? I am open to working in the US, UK, Ireland, or any French, German or Italian speaking countries. Please advise. Thanks.
