Hi, just looking for some advice.
Looking at planning my career and whilst I've always felt consultancy was appealing, I've felt more drawn to industry.
This aside, I've took up an offer from P&G in their CDB function with the view of moving in to Market Planning & Strategy/Brand Management... I'm aiming to spend between 7-10 years here before going back to graduate school for an MBA.
A couple of questions...
1. Would this be a suitable industry position to move in to consultancy later in life?
2. What's you're general impression or thoughts (if any) on P&G?
3. Would the P&G brand carry any weight when applying to MBA programs?
4. For anybody familiar with the internals of P&G, any advice for which areas of expertise to pursue within the business if I wanted to enhance my chances of consultancy?
Of course consultancy isn't everything and I'm merely exploring options; any advice is appreciated..
